Emergency personnel responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 35, just after 10:30 Wednesday morning. About half-way up the mountain from Blanche a ’97 Ford left the roadway and struck a tree with early reports indicating at least one injury.
However the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed no official injuries in the mishap. The driver of that vehicle was 55 year old David Marillion-Pindo of Cedartown, Georgia.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
