Mr. Donald Pope age 74 of Centre passed away Wednesday August 31st at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday September 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. James Rainey officiating, burial will follow in Noah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons
Survivors include wife, Sue Brannon Pope of Centre; daughters, Lynn Hamilton of Centre and Cindy (Dennis) Leighton of Centre; brother, Jackie (Jane) Pope of Centre; sisters, Kay (Brent) Ransum of Centre and Virginia (Bud) Castleberry of Livingston; four grandchildren, Logan Leighton, Jeremy and Kaleb Hamilton and Leah Hughes; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pope was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late William Howard and Helen Wynn Pope and a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
