Three Cherokee County residents and a resident of Georgia, were arrested on drug charges locally Sunday.

Margie Marlene Hood, age 56 of Gaylesville; Glenda Tallent Smith, age 55 also of Gaylesville, and Sean Alexander Fish age 36 of Cedar Bluff were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Carey Ruth Popham age 38 of Lindale Georgia was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Hood, Smith and Fish were all booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center between 7:30 and 8:30pm while Popham was booked in at 6:30 that evening.

All four remain behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
