Delarce G. Jennings Selman, age 81 of Centre, passed away Monday, August 15th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 7:PM Wednesday, August 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Donald Guttery and Rick Jennings officiating; burial will be 10:AM Thursday at Jennings Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Jeremy Jennings, Chad Jennings, Adam Jennings, Kevin Tucker, Jackson Good, Chase Jennings, Brad Jennings, Nick Jennings.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Franklin Selman; sons, Wayne (Susan) Jennings of Centre, Ricky Dale (Lea) Jennings of Centre, Lee Selman (Kathy Turner) of Centre, Artie Selman of Armuchee, GA.; daughter, Beverly Joyce (Bryan) Good of Sharon, SC; brother, Jack (Barbara) Guttery of Centre; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Jennings and daughter, Linda Jennings.
Mrs. Selman was a native of Villa Rica, GA, the daughter of the late Zeber Dee and Mary Emma Cole Guttery, was a seamstress at Sew-Sew Styles and was a member of Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
