A 26 year old Piedmont man landed behind bars, after being accused of breaking into a pair of buildings in Ball Play.
Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin said Jerry Glenn Chapman has been charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and two counts of Theft of Property 3rd Degree.
Investigators say that Chapman stole two chainsaws, a welder and a pair of weed trimmers, among other items.
Hokes Bluff Police assisted in that case.
Chapman was taken to the Etowah County Detention Center with bond being set at $8,000.
