A Cherokee County man was arrested earlier this week in Floyd County, Georgia on a felony drug charge.
According to reports in the Rome News-Tribune 25 year old Thomas Blake Allred of Centre was pulled over by a Cave Spring Police Officer at around 4:30am Tuesday, after being seen traveling at a high rate of speed on Melson Road, then failing to signal a turn onto GA 100.
According to a police report a glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine was discovered inside the vehicle.
Allred was charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and a misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Related Objects.
