Special Events Coming Up at Cherokee County Historical Museum in Centre

The Cherokee County Historical Museum has a very special event coming up this weekend – Museum Director Kathy Marko tells us more:

 

This is a fundraising event – admission will be $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children, and those 12 and under will be admitted FREE of charge.

The show will be taking place from 10:00am – 3:00pm that day.

And coming up on Monday (August 8th), the museum will be hosting a special presentation, by Park Ranger Larry Beane, with the Little River Canyon National Preserve.  He’ll speak on a variety of topics including the Trail of Tears.

The event is FREE of charge with no admission fee of any kind and the public is encouraged to attend.
