A number of Blood Assurance blood drives will be taking place in Cherokee County over the next few weeks.
The first comes up this Thursday (August 4th), at the Centre Walmart, between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm.
Donors will receive their choice of an “I Bleed…” College Football t-shirt including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee while supplies last.
There will be two drives in September – on the 12th, from 12:00 noon – 5:00pm at Cherokee Medical Center and on the 13th from 2:00 – 5:00pm at Pemco.
Blood supplies are currently at critically low levels, and donors are desperately needed this time of year – do your part and help save lives with your donation,
