A northwest Georgia woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident occurring in Cherokee County over the weekend.
According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place on County Road 45 just after 10:00 Sunday morning, involving a 1995 Honda motorcycle being driven by Cave Spring resident Terri Barton.
She was air-lifted from the scene for treatment of injuries sustained in the wreck.
No additional information regarding the extent of Barton’s injuries was available.
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
