Leesburg Man Charged with Breaking into Vehicles at KTH

A Cherokee County man apparently involved in a number of vehicle break-in’s was arrested by Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum early Tuesday afternoon.

Leesburg resident, 26 year old Nicholas Steven Wolgast, was arrested for breaking into cars at KTH; Chief Ransum said most of the items taken have since been recovered. Wolgast was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 12:30pm charged with three counts of Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle, and three counts of Theft of Property 4th Degree.

He remains behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
