Mrs. Brenda Steele Howell Deems 63 of Centre passed away Tuesday July 19th at Riverview Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Thursday July21st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Mayo, David Puckett and Darrell DeBerry officiating, burial will follow in Needmore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM.
Pallbearers include Gator Howell, Larry Steele, Jr., Danny Jones, Adam Cantrell, Ben Morris, Bubba Johnson, Heath Laney, Brian Warren, Jeremy Howell, Jeffery Steele and Terry Joe Lindsey.
Survivors include son, Daniel Deems of Centre; daughter, Deb Howell Rains of Centre; sisters, Barbara Bryant of Centre, Peggy (Hobson) Lindsey of Centre, Dorothy (Bobby) McEwen of Centre, Nancy (Paul) Locke of Centre; grandchildren, Ben Rains and Brennon Rains; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Deems was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Howell and Jimmy Deems, brother, Larry Steele and sister, Shirley Howell.
Mrs. Deems was a native of Chattooga, Ga. and the daughter of the late Thomas Cecil and Annie Louise Hammett Steele.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
