Gadsden Police have arrested a 22 year old man in connection with a shooting incident that took place last Friday morning. Colten Lee Davis, is currently facing a charge of Aggravated Assault 2nd Degree after allegedly hitting his girlfriend and telling her he was going to have someone else shoot her while he was away.
According to that incident report the girlfriend then called a female friend over to the home – where Davis reportedly shot the friend in the feed using small lead shot and she was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Davis currently remains in the Etowah County Detention Center with bond set at $2,500.
The incident took place about 10:30am on Riley Street in the Clubview area of Gadsden.
