Cherokee County 4-H Livestock Club Headed to National “Quiz Bowl” Event in Nebraska

Bowl 3[Wesley Rogers and Eason Reece, Cherokee County 4-H Livestock Club Team Members]

The Cherokee County 4-H Livestock Club has been making quite a name for themselves in the Alabama Livestock “Quiz Bowl” contests and they now have the opportunity to move on to a national stage.

Team members Eason Reece and Wesley Rogers recently stopped by the WEIS Radio studio to tell us more:

That’s Eason Reece.

They’re within sight of their goal however time is running out, with the competition coming up in approximately two months.

Donations of any size are welcome and are greatly appreciated; your contribution will go to help offset travel expenses, registration fees, lodging costs, meals, and so on.  We encourage you to invest in the future of these students who’ve chosen agriculture as their career path.

Help them represent the state of Alabama and Cherokee County in the national competition through a donation in any amount.

Make checks payable to the Alabama 4-H Foundation – simply write Quiz Bowl in the memo line.  Checks may be mailed to the Cherokee County Extension Office, 1526 Chesnut Bypass, Centre, Alabama  35960 or drop them by the office.

For additional information contact the Extension Office at (256) 927-3250.
