According to Sara Bright with the Cherokee Electric Co op, power will be out for a period of time in the area serviced by the Goshen substation.
That includes homes along County Roads 19, 6 and others in that vicinity.
Some lines are down, possibly due to lightning strikes that occurred during Sunday night’s storms.
No estimated time of repair has yet been given.
