A 47 year old Ohatchee woman was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash in Calhoun County  during the early morning hours of Saturday.

According to the accident report the victim, Mary Beth Lambert, was a passenger on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 43 year old Steven Daniel Blohm of Jacksonville.

The motorcycle was struck by a 2004 Ford F-150, on Highway 431, approximately six miles north of Anniston at 3:30am. 

Lambert was pronounced dead at the scene; while both Blohm, and the driver of the pickup  escaped injury.

That accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
