Two Hokes Bluff Men Die in Single-Vehicle Wreck Outside of Springville

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report regarding the crash resulting in two Hokes Bluff men being killed late last week, has now been released.

Both 86 year old Winston Lovell Williams, and 75 year old, Jerry Donald Heard, were fatally injured, when the 2009 GMC pickup being driven by Williams, left the roadway, striking the bridge overpass on Alabama Highway 23 just after 1:30pm Thursday (June 23rd).

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.  That wreck, which took place a one mile north of Springville, remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
