A Gadsden man was injured in a somewhat bizarre incident, taking place Friday morning in the 1100 block of Cabot Avenue.
The victim told officers that he had pulled up to the stop sign near the railroad tracks about 9:00am, when another car, a light blue Lincoln, pulled up beside him; he said that the driver – described as a white male, around five-feet-eight (5’8″) and weighing roughly 160 pounds, jumped out of the car and the stabbed him in the left arm.
The man then got back into his car, and fled the scene; the victim stated that the vehicle had New York plates.
Afterwards the victim sought medical assistance at a nearby fire station but refused to go to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
