Highway 9 just north of the Country Store in Cedar Bluff was shutdown for an extended period of time just after 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon after a big rig tried to turn around, caught the back tires of his trailer in a ditch and got stuck blocking both lanes of the road.
The Cedar Bluff Fire Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Officers responded to the scene.
