A Gaylesville man was airlifted to a trauma center after nearly drowning in Cedar Bluff on Tuesday afternoon.
The Cedar Bluff Fire Department, Cherokee EMS and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Little Spring Creek Bridge on County Road 75 at the County Road 82 Intersection just before 4:30 p.m. following a call to Cherokee 911 that a male subject had possibly drown.
The man whose name was not released, was pulled from the creek and stabilized at the scene by paramedics before being taken by ambulance to Cedar Bluff High School where he was taken by Lifesaver to an area trauma center, his condition is unknown at this time.
