A Cedar Bluff man was injured in a motorcycle accident taking place late Tuesday afternoon on Highway 273 approximately six miles north of Leesburg.

An Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, listed the driver as being 59 year old Joe Bachelor.

He reportedly lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson which ended up in a creek; Bachelor was found lying on the ground and was conscious when emergency personnel arrived.

No additional information was available regarding the extent of his injuries.

That wreck took place at 4:35pm.

Cherokee EMS and the Tucker’s Chapel Fire Department responded to the scene.
