A Floyd County man now faces charges of Failure to Register as a Bond Recovery Agent.

34 year old Rome resident, Bartney Locke Furr, of a Wood Valley Trace address, was taken into custody early Monday, after it was discovered that he had been representing himself as a bondsman, illegally.  A witness claimed that Furr would offer to provide bond services for money or sexual favors, although he was not a licensed bondsman.
