The name of a woman, whose body was found inside a car at Heritage Park in Floyd County, has now been released.
According to Deputy Floyd County Coroner Gene Procter, that body has been determined to be that of 25 year old Marika Marie Nelson.
Authorities have yet to determine a cause of death, however it is being called “suspicious”.
The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
It’s believed the body may have been in the park for more than a day before someone made the discovery and called police.
