A 40 year old Gadsden man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident occurring May 16th in DeKalb County.
Horace Whittaker stands accused of going to the residence of his estranged wife on County Road 51 in Ft Payne, and assaulting 33 year old Michael Lucas with a knife.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris said that following interviews with the witnesses, and that victim, they were able to put together enough evidence to obtain a warrant on Whittaker, for the charge of attempted murder.
