Dessie Ella Swan Stephens, age 92 of Centre, passed away Friday, May 27th at Cherokee Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Tuesday, May 31st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers include Riley Combs, Donnie Lowe, B.J. Culberson, Patrick Lowe, Josh Davenport, Adam McNabb.
Survivors include son, Kile Stephens of Centre; daughter, Patricia Ann Stephens Culberson; 3 grandchildren, Trudy Lynn Culberson Lowe, Valerie Kay Culberson Davis, B.J. Culberson; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; son-in-law, Jerry Culberson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Allen Stephens.
Mrs. Stephens was a native of MS, the daughter of the late Bailey Franklin and Martha Ella Swan Jeffreys Swan, was a loving mother and grandmother, a gifted artist and seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
