Summerville Main Street FREE Concert Series Kicks Off Saturday

Summerville Main Street is set to present a great 2017 Summerville Main Street Music Concert Series. Concerts are free to the public and begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Open-Air Plaza, located at 37 East Washington Street. Summerville Main Street will open the monthly concert series on May 28, ending the season in September with a D.J. Larry Allen Dance/Block Party on East Washington Street.

Small Town Rumor 1

 “Small Town Rumor”, a four piece band based in LaFayette, Georgia will be the featured band for the May 28 concert. The group is no stranger to Northwest Georgia, as the band has strong ties and a great following in the area.  They are set to play an eclectic mix of country, blues, soul, funk, rock, and top 40 hits, guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Multi- versatile band members include Terry Williamson, Matt Williamson, Faith Williamson, and Logan Elliott. In the event of rain or threatening inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the Summerville Depot. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for seating.
