Four people were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

James Kenneth Henderson, 42 of a Cedar Bluff address was charged with two counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Henderson was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 5:30pm.

Anthony Miles Yarbrough, age 42 was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with Hindering Prosecution 2nd Degree; Shelley Renee Yarbrough, age 44, charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing Justice.

Both were booked into jail around 4:00 that afternoon.

And Colton Gregory McCurdy, 18 of Piedmont was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs.

McCurdy was booked in shortly before 1:00pm.

All four individuals remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center at this time, awaiting a bond hearing.
