The driver of an SUV very luckily escaped injury after his vehicle struck and knocked down a utility pole on the Cedar Bluff Road across the street from Patti Ford Photography on Tuesday afternoon.
Centre Police and Firefighters along with Cherokee Electric Crews were dispatched to the scene at around 4:30 – Centre Police said somehow there was hardly any damage to the vehicle. In fact the driver was able to drive the vehicle home.
