A single-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning in Calhoun County claimed the life of an Anniston man and sent two other individuals to the hospital.
48 year old Allen Lynn Slaughter sustained fatal injuries after his 1994 Ford Bronco left the roadway and overturned on Thompson Road just after 11:30am.
Slaughter and two passengers in the vehicle – identified as 20 year old Brandy Lynn Barclay and 49 year old Charles Thomas Bowling both of Ohatchee were all ejected from the vehicle
Barclay and Bowling were transported to Anniston Regional Medical Center for treatment – Slaughter was pronounced dead at the scene.
It remains unclear what led to the accident; Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate
