One person suffered a broken leg in an accident on Industrial Park Drive behind Foothills Tractor in Centre on Monday afternoon. Centre Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS, the Sheriff’s Office and the Rescue Squad responded to the scene.

The driver of the vehicle escaped injury while the passenger was transported to Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome by EMS Ground Units.

It is not known exactly what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway, we’ll have more as soon as Centre Police Department accident reports are released.
