A highly-anticipated annual event for all those who like to “play in the dirt” is coming up on Saturday (April 23rd). It’s one of the area’s biggest plant sales – presented by the Cherokee County Master Gardeners organization.
The Master Gardeners are extremely well-known around this area, for their beautiful work at Centre City Park, Cherokee Rock Village and a multitude of other areas and two members of the group, Tillie Morgan and Billy Tillery – stopped by the studios of WEIS Radio Tuesday morning to speak with our own Jerry Baker about the Master Gardeners organization:

The event will get underway at 8:00 Saturday morning at the Centre City Park and we want stress that you should plan to arrive early; Mr. Tillery pointed out that last year’s sale was a huge success, with approximately 80% of the items being sold by 10:00 that morning.
