A portion of Highway 35 was blocked Friday morning, due to an 18 wheeler accident which took place just after midnight (12:15am/Friday).
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the big rig, which was hauling a load of steel, went off the roadway on 35 near County Road 718 just outside of Gaylesville.
The road is shut down from the Gaylesville Four-Way Stop to the site of the accident.
