A Birmingham woman was fatally injured in an accident on I-20 Wednesday afternoon.
According to information contained in Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports Valerie Denise Allen, age 55, was killed when the tractor-trailer she was driving overturned and caught fire, just after 2:00pm.
Senior State Trooper Chuck Daniel states no additional information is being released at this time, due to the on-going investigation into the wreck, which took place approximately two miles east of Moody.
