Mr. Auston Lee Morgan, age 85, of Centre, passed away Sunday March 27th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Wednesday March 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Burgess and Brad Hunter will be officiating, burial will follow at Plunkett Cemetery in Collinsville, AL. The family will accept friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday.
Survivors include sons Roy Morgan, Austin “Jr” (Jan) Morgan, Jackie (Shirley) Morgan; daughter Barbara (Ronnie) Haggard; sister Sadie Vines; 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; chosen grandchild Corey Haggard.
Mr. Morgan was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Virgle and Ada Bynum Morgan, and of the Baptist faith.
