The Cherokee County Warriors varsity golf team traveled to Terrapin Hills Country Club on Thursday, March 10th to battle with the Wildcats of Fort Payne.  The Warriors fought hard against the wind and the Wildcats, but could not bring home a victory. Fort Payne carded 170 to beat Cherokee County’s score of 192.  Stone Alexander and JR Young tied for low score, with both shooting 45.

The Warriors redeemed themselves on Monday, March 14th at Stoney Brook Golf Course when facing the Golden Eagles of Jacksonville High School. CCHS came in with the team low score of 173 to win over Jacksonville who carded 187.  Caden Garrett had the leading low score for the Warriors with a 41, followed closely by Stone Alexander’s 42.
