Just minutes following a two vehicle crash on West Main Street, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a three vehicle accident occurring on the East Bypass at the intersection with Armory Road just after 4:30 on Monday afternoon.
At least one person was taken to the hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries, Centre Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene.
It is not known at this time exactly what caused the accident, we’ll have additional information as soon as Centre Police Department accident reports are released.
