Cherokee County deputies and investigators are requesting assistance in identifying a man involved in a burglary.

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the incident occurred on County Road 6 in the Mt. Weisner community on the afternoon of Friday, March 4th.

Upon arriving home, the homeowners discovered the man at their residence, and were then threatened with a weapon.

After the confrontation, the suspect quickly fled the scene.
