According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver – deputies and investigators are currently investigating a missing person report and request assistance in locating the individual.
The family of Joseph Allen Downey, age 38 of the Mt. Weisner community, has reported him missing; he was last seen on February 19th (2016) in the area of his home.
