Two Centre residents were arrested on drug charges Sunday night.

According to information on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website: 27 year old Cody Lance Lambert has been charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and a Violation of the Prohibition Law.

Jessica Renee Hand, age 29, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance in addition to Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Lambert was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 10:00pm, with Hand being booked in shortly after 11:00pm.

An Aragon, Georgia man was also arrested late Sunday afternoon on drug charges. 20 year old Patrick Lee Smith, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was booked into jail at around 3:30pm, bonding out approximately two hours later.
