An Alabama man has been indicted by a Floyd County Grand Jury on the charge of homicide by vehicle in connection with a wreck that killed his mother outside of Cave Spring almost two years ago.
According to jail records – Robert Jefferson Reed of Dawson was traveling south on Foster’s Mill Road when his Chevy Impala went off the road and down an embankment.
The vehicle rolled, coming to rest in a creek.
Reed was injured in that wreck – however, 57 year old Jo Ann Reed, who was a passenger in the vehicle, did not survive.
