A single-vehicle wreck claimed the life of one and injured another person on Friday.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. and killed the passenger 19 year old Kevin Raeshawn Parker, of Collinsville. Parker was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected when the 1997 Ford Ranger left the roadway and overturned. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The vehicle’s driver, 21 year old Darrious Latrell Parker also of Collinsville, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
