On Friday members of Alabama’s Power Shoreline Management, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department with the trustees work crew along with Save Weiss Lake completed another Weiss Lake shoreline clean up all across Weiss Lake spanning from the Coosa River in Cedar Bluff to Little River in Leesburg as well as the Pruett’s area.

Tom Taylor with Save Weiss Lake said that the group is actively looking for a solution for recycling tires in our community as that seems to be one of the biggest things polluting the lake.
