Mr. Calvin Grimes age 64 of Centre passed away Wednesday February 24th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday February 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Ballew officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday.
Survivors include wife, Shelby Jean Davis Grimes of Centre; son, Calvin Andrew Grimes Sr. of Centre; daughter, Amber Renae Grimes of Centre; brother, Ricky Grimes of Centre; sister, Regina Jennings of Anniston; grandson, Calvin Andrew Grimes Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Grimes was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late George and Lucille Stowe Grimes. He was employed at Sara Lee Bakery and of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
