A 29 year old Albertville man, has been arrested by DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, after witnesses say he started a house fire in the Crossville area.
Jeffery Michael Page was picked up on Wednesday of this week subsequently being charged with Arson 1st Degree in connection with the case.
Eyewitnesses in the home stated Page, who was with them in the house, went to the rear of the home on County Road 1973, started a fire – then escaped by jumping out a window.
Page remains in the DeKalb County Detention Center with bond set at $50,000.
