Etowah County authorities say a Guntersville man has been charged with sexual abuse of a 14-year-old victim.
Sheriff Todd Entrekin said Kori Michael Makaris, 21, was arrested on Friday and has been charged with one count of second degree sodomy.
According to Entrekin, Makaris allegedly engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with a female victim who was 14 years old at the time of the incident.

Makaris is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on ,000 cash bond.

As a condition of the bond, he is not allowed to have any contact with the victim and no unsupervised contact with any child under 18 years of age.
