Man Air-Lifted After Single-Vehicle Crash in Leesburg

One person was air-lifted following a single-vehicle crash on Keener Drive in Leesburg over the weekend.

According to Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum the accident took place just before 10:00 Saturday night and it involved a 2007 Chevy Silverado being driven by William Sullivan of a Leesburg address.

Ransum said the impact from the crash almost broke the vehicle in two.

Sullivan was air-lifted from the scene to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga for treatment.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
