A 30 year old man was fatally injured in a mobile home fire Tuesday in Chattooga County in the area of South Little Sand Mountain Road.
Family members told the Summerville News, Joshua James Childers died in that fire, shortly after 2:30pm. An official positive ID on the body will come later.
A passerby reportedly noticed the fire at the residence and quickly alerted neighbors, who dialed 9-1-1; the Gore Volunteer Fire Department and Hays State Prison unit responded.
According to Sheriff Mark Schrader a representative of the Georgia Fire Marshal Office will investigate.
