Jacksonville State quarterback Eli Jenkins was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with an alleged on-campus domestic violence incident, police confirmed to local media outlets.
Jenkins, who just capped off a sensational junior season that included a run to the FCS Championship game, was arrested just before 1 a.m. at an apartment complex on Cole Drive, where police were investigating a report of domestic violence. According to the Anniston Star, the incident happened at Jax Apartments.
Jenkins, 21, is a Birmingham native and Parker High School graduate.
