Gadsden police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a Friday night murder.
Sgt. John Hallman said Qwintin Deaundre Kirby of Gadsden was arrested Saturday in the 800 block of Owls Hollow Road.
Kirby was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Michael Anthony Salster, 25 years old, who died Friday night. Police were called to the Age Fuel Outlet in the 2400 block of Ewing Avenue about 6:20 p.m. on a report of a gunshot victim.
They found Salster there, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Kirby is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center, pending charges.
