A portion of Highway 273 is blocked (Friday) this morning due to an 18-wheeler having its wheels in a ditch near St. Clair Street and McDaniel Street. Those traveling in that direction can take as an alternate route County Road 44 at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, to County Road 110, and from there, turn back onto 273.
We urge everyone driving through the area to slow down and exercise caution.
We’ll update you just as soon as the roadway has been cleared.
UPDATE – The road is now open again.
