Mary-Kathleen-RussellMary Kathleen Russell, age 47 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday after she allegedly used her sister’s name to get out of a ticket for an expired tag.

Reports say after police pulled Russell over on Redmond Circle she signed her sister’s name to the ticket in order to avoid being arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

She was charged with making false statements or writings and giving a false name, address or birth date to law enforcement; driving without a license and driving on an expired tag.
